The Summit County Manager’s Office implements the policies and procedures set forth by the
Board of County Commissioners.
The county manager and assistant county managers also manage the annual budget and oversee approximately 500 county full-time and seasonal employees in more than 30 departments. Together, they work to provide quality services, programs and information to Summit County residents and visitors.
COVID-19 Operations
Summit County is currently restricting public access to the Manager's Office in order to reduce COVID-19 transmission. Manager's Office staff are available via phone and email from 8am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday for all questions and inquiries, or to make an appointment to speak with someone in person.
