The Clerk & Recorder’s Office administers elections, voter registration, mail ballots and Voter Service Polling Centers conducted under Title 1 of Colorado Revised Statute, regulated by the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office.

Ballot Replacement

Because of Summit County’s COVID-19 protocols, the Clerk’s Office is currently closed to in-person customer service, without an estimated date of reopening. We will reopen as soon as possible.  For socially-distanced in-person ballot replacement beginning September 21, email elections@summitcountyco.gov or call (970) 453-3479.

COVID-19 Voting Considerations

Because of COVID-19 mitigation measures, we strongly encourage all voters to return ballots by mail or via a secure 24-hour County drop-box.
