Summit County Snowplow Jamboree

Summit County and local towns kick off winter each November at the Snowplow Jamboree! It’s an opportunity for the whole family to check out our giant snowplows and learn about the snow removal operations that keep our roads safe during the winter.

Kids’ activities include painting a plow blade, decorating hard hats, climbing inside giant snowplows, graders and other snow-removal equipment and rescue vehicles. Adults can meet their snow removal crews, ask questions and get tips for a safe winter. Raffle prizes include rides to school in a giant plow truck, tubing tickets, rec center passes, boat rentals and gift bags. Free cookies and hot chocolate for everyone!

Please note: The Snowplow Jamboree will not take place in 2020 because of physical distancing requirements related to COVID-19.
