Flu Vaccination

The flu vaccine is an important tool to help individuals to stay healthy and reduce the strain on local healthcare resources during the pandemic. The flu vaccine protects you from a leading cause of death and illness. An influenza infection causes many of the same symptoms we see in COVID-19, such as body aches, fever and sore throat. Protecting yourself from the flu reduces strain on our health care system and reduces stress on you and your family.

The CDC recommends that individuals get vaccinated for the flu in order to reduce the threat of COVID-19 by keeping the body healthy, and the immune system uncompromised and ready to react to the threat of coronavirus. This is especially important for at-risk groups.
