Hours

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office provides live scan fingerprinting services, including fingerprinting for Explosive Permits, through an agreement with IDEMIA. Applicants must register at the IdentoGO website and will receive information necessary to schedule an appointment there. Appointments are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 

9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. For IdentoGO prints, the Summit County Sheriff's Office requires that appointments be made prior to coming into the office, no walk-ins are accepted. 

 **If paying with a credit card that is not issued to the person being fingerprinted, the cardholder must be present during the transaction** 

Fingerprinting for Concealed Weapons Permits are available Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:40 p.m. Concealed handgun applications are only accepted online and can be submitted here.

Fees

The fees for fingerprinting vary and are listed on the IdentoGO website. Fees are payable at the time of fingerprinting, forms of payment accepted include credit cards, business checks, or money orders. We are unable to accept cash for fingerprints with IdentoGO. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

Requirements

You must have a valid form of identification with you at the time of fingerprinting. When fingerprinting a minor (under the age of 18), a parent or legal guardian must be present.

Ink Fingerprints

Ink fingerprints are available at the Sheriff’s Office Tuesday – Thursday by appointment only. Fingerprinting will include 2 paper cards and cost $15.00 for the set. Appointments are required and can be scheduled here. Please call 970-423-8900 with questions.
