The purpose of this website is to provide the public with information about sex offenders living in unincorporated Summit County. Other municipalities, towns, or cities located within Summit County that have their own police departments are not included on this website.

Only information on registered sex offenders allowed to be disclosed under Colorado law appears on this website. Under state law, some registered sex offenders are not subject to public disclosure; therefore, they are not included on this site. Not all juvenile offenders are listed online, per the restrictions in the state law. Some adults, including those convicted of only one misdemeanor offense, are also omitted from the website. Offenders who are not in compliance may be listed on the Colorado Bureau of Investigations Web site. You can access the Colorado sex offender registry from the CBI website at http://sor.state.co.us/.

The Colorado sex offender registry includes only those persons who have been required by law to register and who are in compliance with the sex offender registration laws. Individuals should not rely solely on the sex offender registry as a safeguard against perpetrators of sexual assault in their communities. The crime for which a person is convicted may not accurately reflect the level of risk. Information in this database is not to be used to inflict retribution or additional punishment on any person convicted of unlawful sexual behavior.

The information provided through this website is public record. The accuracy of the records cannot be guaranteed, as offenders may have moved and not yet notified or failed to notify law enforcement. The Summit County sex offender website includes only those persons who have been required by law to register in Summit County, Colorado and who are in compliance with the sex offender registration laws pursuant to C.R.S. 16-22-112.
