Court Security is tasked with the safety and security of all of those within the Summit County Justice Center. Court Security conducts screening at the entrance of the Justice Center, consisting of a metal detector and bag X-ray. They also respond to any alarms or disturbances within the Justice Center, backed up by the Detention Staff. Court Security screens approximately 4,500 visitors to the Justice Center every month.
