Earlier today, the Board of Summit County Commissioners enacted Stage 1 Fire Restrictions in Summit County. Fireworks, open fires, and some outdoor equipment use are prohibited. Smoking is prohibited except for within an enclosed vehicle or building, a developed recreation site or in a barren area free of vegetation.
