Summit County is implementing regulations for short term rentals (STRs), which are applicable to properties in the unincorporated areas of Summit County. The STR regulations address:
  • - Permitting and fees
  • - Regulation of key neighborhood impacts (e.g., parking and trash) 
  • - Regulation of life safety issues (e.g., smoke and carbon monoxide detectors)
  • - An effective compliance-monitoring and enforcement system.

STR Permitting System Demos April 11, May 1, May 10

Summit County staff will host four demonstration sessions to provide STR permit applicants with guidance and instructions on using the online STR permitting system. All STR owners and managers are invited. We will walk attendees through the online permit application and answer questions. Each of the four sessions will cover the same content.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Where: Summit County Community & Senior Center, 83 Nancy’s Place, Frisco

When:
  • 3:30-5 p.m., Thursday, April 11
  • 5:30-7 p.m., Thursday, April 11
  • 9-10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 1
  • 3:30-5 p.m., Friday, May 10
