Late last week , Summit County’s design-build team of Ecological Resource Consultants/Tezak Heavy Equipment (ERC/Tezak) began mobilizing machinery to the Swan River Restoration project site, performing some initial survey work, and preparing to commence earthwork this week (week of June 6). Over the coming days, you will notice yellow machines moving around the site as ERC/Tezak begins some of the initial site grading, prepares a platform for the onsite gravel milling operations, and continues to establish its onsite presence.
ERC/Tezak plans to stage a construction trailer near the southwestern corner of the site near Tiger Road and run operations out of this remote work space. Work is scheduled to continue through November 2016, followed by a winter shut-down period, before recommencing in spring 2017.
