SHERIFF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE HOURS RESUME

SUMMIT COUNTY, CO – Starting Tuesday, May 26, 2020 the Summit County Sheriff’s Office will resume regular business hours. Standard walk in office hours will be 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for all Sheriff related business including but not limited to civil process, fingerprints and concealed handgun permits. At the onset of the COVID-19 response, our administrative office hours became limited. We have now been provided with guidance from both Summit County Public Health and the Center for Disease Control for keeping the public and our employees safe. Those procedures are now in place and are being practiced by both Justice Center employees and the entering public.

Consistent with the public safety response to the spread of COVID-19 in our community, the Sheriff’s Office patrol and jail functions continue to operate providing 24-hour service to the community.

If you have general questions call the Sheriff’s Office main line (970) 453-2232. This is not an emergency phone line. Call 911 with any emergency.
