CDPHE Mobile Vaccine Clinic to Make First Stop in Summit County this Weekend

Vaccine bus will provide free walk-up COVID vaccinations Saturday through Tuesday

SUMMIT COUNTY – Summit County Public Health in partnership with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) will be hosting mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics throughout the county beginning this weekend. Summit County will be the first stop for a new COVID vaccine bus that will be traveling throughout Colorado to help make vaccination appointments easier and more accessible to the public. 

“We are thrilled to host the vaccine bus in Summit County as it makes stops in Dillon, Silverthorne, Breckenridge, and Blue River,” said Public Health Director Amy Wineland. “We encourage individuals that have not had an opportunity to be vaccinated yet to attend one of these free walk-up events.”

“Getting vaccinated protects yourself, those around you, and will help Summit County reach our goal of having 70% of our residents fully vaccinated by May 27 so that we can move to Level Green and enjoy the summer the way we all want to. Please help us spread the word,” added Wineland. 

The CDPHE vaccine bus will tour Summit County on the following schedule:

  • Saturday, April 24 
    • Dillon: Swan Meadow Village, Summit Cove, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
    • Keystone: North Shuttle Lot, St. Johns Road and Hwy 6, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 25 
    • Breckenridge: Summit High School, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
    • Silverthorne: Silverthorne Rec Center, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Monday, April 26 
    • Breckenridge: Colorado Mountain College, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
    • Breckenridge: Breckenridge Rec Center, 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
    • Breckenridge: Beaver Run Resort, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 27 
    • Breckenridge: F-lot Breckenridge, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
    • Blue River: Blue River Town Hall, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

No appointment needed. All individuals ages 16 years and older are welcome to attend the mobile clinics. Those under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian present. 

These clinics are all Pfizer clinics and require two doses of the vaccine. The CDPHE Bus will be returning to the same locations in Summit County May 15-18 to deliver the second dose. Individuals that receive the first dose at these clinics should ensure that they are available to receive the second dose on these dates.

La Clínica Móvil de Vacunas Hará su Primera Parada en el Condado de Summit este Fin de Semana

El autobús de vacunas proporcionará vacunas COVID gratuitas sin cita previa de sábado a martes

 CONDADO DE SUMMIT - Salud Pública del Condado de Summit en asociación con el El Departamento de Salud Pública y Medio Ambiente de Colorado (CDPHE) organizará clínicas móviles de vacunación COVID-19 en todo el condado a partir de este fin de semana. El condado de Summit será la primera parada de un nuevo autobús de vacunas COVID que viajará por todo Colorado para ayudar a que las citas de vacunación sean más fáciles y mas accesibles para el público. 

“Estamos encantados de presentar el autobús de vacunas en el condado de Summit, ya que hace paradas en Dillon, Silverthorne, Breckenridge y Blue River”, dijo la directora de salud pública Amy Wineland. "Alentamos a las personas que aún no han tenido la oportunidad de vacunarse a que asistan a uno de estos eventos sin cita previa y gratuitos".

“Vacunarse te protege a ti mismo, a quienes te rodean, y ayudará al condado de Summit a alcanzar nuestra meta de tener el 70% de nuestros residentes completamente vacunados para el 27 de mayo para que podamos pasar al nivel Verde y disfrutar del verano de la manera que todos queremos. Por favor ayúdanos a pasar la voz ”, agregó Wineland. 

El autobús de vacunas de CDPHE recorrerá el condado de Summit en el siguiente horario:

  • Sábado, 24 de abril 
    • Dillon: Swan Meadow Village, Summit Cove, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
    • Keystone: Lote de North Shuttle, St. Johns Road y Hwy 6, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
  • Domingo, 25 de abril 
    • Breckenridge: Summit High School, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
    • Silverthorne: Silverthorne Rec Center, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
  • Lunes, el 26 de abril 
    • Breckenridge: Colorado Mountain College, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
    • Breckenridge: Breckenridge Rec Center, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
    • Breckenridge: Beaver Run Resort, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
  • Martes, 27 de abril 
    • Breckenridge: lote-F Breckenridge, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
    • Blue River: Alcaldía de Blue River, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

No se necesita cita. Todas las personas mayores de 16 años pueden asistir a las clínicas móviles. Los menores de 18 años deben tener un padre/tutor presente. 

Todas estas clínicas son clínicas de Pfizer y requieren dos dosis de la vacuna. El autobús CDPHE regresará a los mismos lugares en el condado de Summit del 15 al 18 de mayo para entregar la segunda dosis. Las personas que reciben la primera dosis en estas clínicas deben asegurarse de estar disponibles para recibir la segunda dosis en estas fechas.
