Summit County Public Health

The current Summit County Public Health Order will be extended through July 31

Contact: Adam Kisiel, Summit County Public Affairs Coordinator

SUMMIT COUNTY – Summit County Public Health has extended the current Public Health Order through July 31.

“We feel that it is important to extend the health order to continue to require face masks in group settings for individuals ages 2-11 years that are not able to receive the protection of the vaccine and are susceptible to COVID-19,” said Public Health Director Amy Wineland. “We are hopeful that our high vaccination rate in the community will help mitigate any outbreaks and provide protection from those variants that are becoming more prevalent within CO and elsewhere.”
